The Political & Media section is responsible for all aspects of the UK’s relationship with Ireland. This includes the UK-Ireland bilateral relationship, EU policy, foreign and security policy.

Our main priorities are Northern Ireland, Europe and Climate Change.  We work closely with the Irish government on these issues and co-ordinate State, Ministerial and official level visits between Ireland and the UK.

We also organise events that draw together Irish and British experts, opinion formers and commentators on political, judicial, domestic and foreign affairs.
