Defence
The Defence section in Dublin closed in October 2007 and is now based in London. Liaison Staff in the Embassy promote and maintain links between the staff of the UK Ministry of Defence and the Irish Department of Defence across a wide range of activities.
We assist with the co-ordination of commemorative ceremonies and liaise during the visits of military units and personnel. Enquiries from the public about British defence matters are forwarded to the Defence Attaché in London.
