The Football Against Racism in Europe network uses sports events to boost public awareness of the problems of racism and exclusion and to create a united front in dealing with thismalign influence on Europe's number one sport - football.

The UK's Equality and Human Rights Commission was established to protect, enforce and promote equality across the seven "protected" grounds - age, disability, gender,  race, religion and belief, sexual orientation and gender reassignment.
